1. Grant of license (broad, perpetual, irrevocable). I grant the Organizer a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, distribute, and sell the photographs and video taken of me in connection with the Queen of the Cove 2026 contest series (“the Content”), together with my name, likeness, and image, for any and all uses, in any and all media now known or later developed. Without limiting the foregoing, this includes the contest website, the Organizer's social media, sponsor acknowledgment posts, printed and digital promotional materials, and winner announcements. This license applies to this contest series, future editions, and the Organizer's general business, without further approval, notice, or compensation to me.
2. No compensation. I understand entry is free and I receive no payment for the creation, use, or sale of the Content or my likeness. Prizes are awarded solely per the Official Rules.
3. Age verification and records. I agree to provide a photo of my government-issued ID to verify eligibility. I understand my ID image and this signed release are stored privately, with access restricted to the Organizer, and are never published or shared with sponsors or the public. I agree the Organizer may retain my ID image and this release on file indefinitely as a record of my age, identity, and consent.
4. My representations. I confirm that: I am 18 years of age or older as of the date I sign; the information I provide is accurate; I am entering voluntarily; and I have the right to grant this license.
5. Withdrawal. I may withdraw from the competition at any time by contacting the Organizer, and any votes cast for me will be voided. As a courtesy, the Organizer will remove my contestant gallery from the live website within 5 business days of my request. However, the license I grant in Section 1 is irrevocable and survives withdrawal: the Organizer may continue to use and sell the Content and my likeness as described above, and may retain my age-verification records.
6. Release of claims and publicity. I release the Organizer and its sponsors from any and all claims arising out of the authorized use or sale of the Content and my likeness, including claims for right of publicity, invasion of privacy, defamation, or misappropriation. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials or the uses to which they may be applied. The Organizer is not responsible for third-party resharing of images that have been publicly posted.
7. Rules. I have read and agree to the Official Rules of the contest.
